Avoid this bus (written at the end of the post).....
On the 30th November 2010
8.45am
Packed my stuff, got on the cab, returned keys, left UTM, off to Larkin for 9.45am bus bak to Kampar.
9.15am
Stucked in traffic jam on the way thr.....DAM! Stucked for 15 minutes!! My face remained calm, as a mean to hide my nervousness.....
9.35am
Safely reached there, the problem started when i took my ticket to the SriMaju Agent there. They said they didn't sell that ticket. I was dumbfounded for a moment. Then there are these few guys stood nearby, as if they are selling ticket or promoting their buses or something like that. Might as well asked them for direction to the actual agent of the ticket, since i'm quite lost and my friend who bought me the ticket didn't pick up the phone(plus he said it's from Sri Maju when he gave it to me....headache =.=). I asked one of the guys from the crowd, he took a look at my ticket, as if he knows exactly the solution, then asked me to follow him. We walked to some bus, which weirdly having a different logo compared to what is printed on the ticket.
"Bus ni ada pergi Kampar ke?" I asked.
"Ada ada!" the man said.
Then there was this female agent sat on the bus, took the ticket i bought and wrote me another ticket with the word KAMPAR largely on it.
I thought, they didn't asked me to paid for another fee, so as long as it back to Kampar safely, then it's alright. There's a Malay girl sat next to me, had a chat with her, then only realised we were under the same circumstances (probably the rest of the passengers were, too)
10.00 am
Bus started to go.
2.30 pm
The bus is comfortable. Everything was fine, then, somehow the bus entered Shah Alam there. I was kinda surprised because usually buses will either enter Bukit Jalil or stop by some RnR along the highway. I guessed the bus was picking up some passengers. The bus driver drove into the Klang Central, simply go to the toilet and had a few chat with the people there. OK, maybe their having some important discussion anyways, though, it added one and a half our to the whole journey.
4.30 pm
Nightmare began when the bus stopped by the rest place at Tanjung Malim there, then the driver told that they WILL NOT GO INTO KAMPAR. THEY WILL GIVE ME TEN RINGGIT AND LET ME TOOK BUS OR WATEVER WAYS GO BAK TO KAMPAR MYSELF FROM TAPAH! I was, again, dumbfounded, at first. Then i thought i will try to negotiate with them upon reaching Tapah, coz seriously, why on earth would anybody wanted to make this trip any longer? Since then, the road onwards was uneasy to me.
5.20 pm
Climax is here. Reached Tapah........
Me: Boleh masuk ke Kampar ke? Dekat je....
Driver: Tak boleh. Kita tak ada masuk punye.
Me: Megapa tak ada masuk kampar?
Driver: Kita memang tak ada.
Me: Mengapa? Tiket sana tulis Kampar....
Driver: Tak pernah la kita henti di Kampar, sangat jauh la...
Me: Tak jauh la, 15~20 minutes oni, lepas pergi Gopeng from Kampar another 15minutes oni...
Driver: Eh, adik, jalan lama mah, memang jauh....
Me: (I believe he seriously havent been to Kampar before and probably not intended to do so) Saya dah tinggal di Kampar for the past 20 years. Tak mungkin saya tak tau dan jalan tu memang tak panjang.
Driver: Highway lebih cepat
Me: Highway masih 30km++ to Gopeng, at least 20+ minutes using highway, jalan lamaTapah to Kampar 15 minutes, Kampar to Gopeng another 15minutes, total, ard 30~35 minutes, 10minute + oni....
Driver: Aiya, tak boleh...bus kita memang tak ada masuk....
Me: Tapi, orang yg menjual tiket tu cakap ada... Tiket pun ada tulis!
Driver: Sana punye orang mane boleh percaya punye, mereka itu ulat ma...
Me: Tapi agent bus kamu leh..
Driver: Tak boleh, not our responsibility, tu agent problem..
Thrs no way argue with the degil driver, so i thought calling his boss might be better.....but i regret doing so, cuz i was ok at first, a lil' anxious but under control, but then this fking boss will makes everybd mad i believe...lets give him a name...lets call him JERK.
Me: Hello, i bought ya ticket from Larkin, they said got letak at Kampar, but now the bus driver didn't do so. He said they didn't ever enter Kampar cuz the route hav been fixed.
Jerk: Tak boleh.
Me: Y? Y cant? Kampar is near oni leh. I got no ppl to fetch me in Tapah. Plus, it's raining now. Its hard to get bus here to Kampar ya noe?
Jerk: Tak Boleh la! Kita Memang tak ada pergi Kampar.
Me: But the ticket thr written Kampar...Ya agent said one wo!
Jerk: Tu Agent punye problem! Bukan kita punye masalah! Kita tak boleh masuk!
Me: Huh? Eh, agent kamu Selat Keris leh(the bus name)!? Itz ur agent, ur responsibility leh!
Jerk: Tak boleh tak boleh! Kite memang tak ada masuk punye! U turun di Tapah lah!
Me: U nak letak saya di sini tunggu until dunno wad time maybe till 7.00pm? Nobody cum fetch me eh! My family aren't free ya noe? My friend aso gt their things to do!
Jerk: Apa LanJiao la lu!? ^%%^$%#^&(*&^%%.......
WTF?! I havent started with any rude words and now u threw all those Lanjiao to me....I was totally furious, the conversation began with reasoning , to arguing, eventually to yelling.....I was totally lost control and the fiery "conversation" goes on and on......Then he simply gave up with the words .....apa lanjiao(sounds fading).....he cut off the line.
Urghh....i was panting afterwards and realised some passengers looked at me as if 911 is happening again, some looked at me like they are thinking i'm the poor kid kena tipu, kesianye..And the Malay girl started to worry whether they will got to Ipoh safely anot. I said: "Kena buat aduan...", she said: "Mesti buat!"
In the end, they put me at Tapah's Shell n my bro picked me up ard 6.00pm.....
Its my first time i seriously got pissed off by such a fking attitude. Duh? Who will tolerate when the jerk from Selat Keris keeps on calling u lanjiao n simply left u in Tapah when on ur ticket clearly written with the 6 letters, "KAMPAR"?
Lessons of the story, next time no more Larkin, or at least i should buy the ticket on my own. No more Selat Keris BKP 9018 from JB to Perak. Never got on anonymous bus even though the agent promised u will get to where u wanted to. They are, as the bus driver claimed, the Ulat.
